Eduba is an app for learning Sumerian cuneiform, made by CWAI Development. It comes as an Android app and as a web app at eduba.conversations-with-ai.com. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use either one. The short version: Eduba does not collect, store or share any personal information.
What Eduba collects
Nothing. Eduba has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts or any other personal details.
What stays on your device
Your learning progress, your rank and your settings are saved only on your own device: inside the app, or in your browser’s storage for the web version. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser’s data for the site, deletes it.
In the Android app, all fonts and audio recordings are built in, so it works without an internet connection. If you use “Copy cuneiform,” the text goes to your device’s clipboard and nowhere else.
The web version
The web version is a set of files served by GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub records visitors’ IP addresses in its server logs for security purposes, under the GitHub General Privacy Statement. We do not receive or see those logs. The web version loads nothing from any other site: its fonts, audio and images all come from the same address, and it sets no cookies.
Optional tips
Eduba is free. In the Android app you can choose to leave a tip through Google Play. Tips are processed entirely by Google Play under the Google Privacy Policy. We never see your name, payment card or billing details. The app only checks with Google Play whether a tip was made, so it can show the “Patron of the eduba” mark on your device.
Children
Eduba is an educational app suitable for a general audience. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
